Tough Yet Sensitive

In response to hardship, a hand will grow callouses to protect itself, but at the cost of losing sensitivity. Some personalities are the same way, but any comfort from numbness is only an illusion. There is nothing safe about impaired sensation and nothing "tough" about hiding from emotions. Heightened sensitivity increases the liklihood that you will be able to detect and evade pain in the first place; and a greater affinity for beauty can better motivate you to overcome tribulations that robocops cannot. Still, it can be difficult to feel what others deny. But it's worth it.

Bo Burnham - Left Brain, Right Brain

End Sexism!

Sexism is such a dead giveaway for an unfulfilled love life and unbalanced personality.

Masculine Ideal

I've always found this photo of Charlie Hunnam to represent all the qualities I think a man should have: he is strong, yet gentle. Powerful, yet humble and pensive. The black and white gives him an element of class, yet his long hair and beard show his soul is wild and free. This is the balance of opposites I try to achieve.
