Poutine
Of the many great things to come out of Canada, it's universally acknowledged that none surpass Le Poutine. Made of french fries, melted cheese curds and brown gravy, it is the nation's pride and joy and the only food that the prime minister is allowed to eat.
Former British-French Colony
Though Canada is officially bilingual, only 1 of its 13 provinces and territories speaks French, so now it's more like a mix of English and American culture.
