British-American Citizenship

Despite being born in Canada, I left in 2010, and am now a British-American dual-citizen. I attained American citizenship through marriage and British by descent.

When I was growing up, everyone I knew was a straight, white Christian and phones were still connected to the wall with a wire. People would argue about facts because there was no internet to look them up on. Teachers were reluctant to give us calculators because they'd diminish our natural arithmetic and we carried backpacks full of heavy textbooks home each day just to use a few pages.
