English-American Dual-Citizenship

The prevailing opinion in the UK is that one can never be too British, but my aim is to be a Citizen of the World, so I don't currently live in the UK or have a British accent. But accents aren't the essence of the UK anymore than slanted eyes are the essence of China. My family history on this island (though limited) stretches back at least 4 generations and I don't need to conform to stereotypes. My assimilation has been underway since 2018, and will take decades to complete, but will be worthwhile nonetheless.
