The Mandela Effect
A phenomenon in which a large segment of the population remembers facts about the past differently than they currently appear to have always been. For example, millions of people remember that this pictured (left) children's book franchise was always called The Berenstein Bears (with an "e" in -stein) but all or almost all copies of the books today mysteriously spell it as The Berenstain Bears (with an "a" in -stain). Even old physical copies of the books and TV series allegedly all use the "a" spelling. I haven't personally checked physical copies of the books but I remember that the franchise was definitely always spelled with -stein as the ending, which is a common surname ending. Some consider this and other Mandela effects to be proof that this reality or timeline may have been altered or isn't real.
Somebody posted a version of the book with the original spelling.
