One of the reasons I moved to Europe was to get a last-minute authentic experience before they ruined it — like the old Soboras Cathedral in Kaunas.

It should be no surprise that a country whose capital city name means "Devil" would suffer corruption. Lithuania certainly has redeeming qualities, but the psychopathy deemed normal here cannot go unmentioned.

Hard to Leave

There is something almost hypnotic about Lithuania's slow lifestyle. You could easily waste your life here. It takes more willpower to leave than it should.
