Brazilian

Coming soon.

British

Though eating habits in the UK are rightfully criticized, you can get quality food — like this pictured Beef Wellington — if you can afford it.

Chinese

Few Westerners own a wok — but it's a great addition to any kitchen to get that slightly charred, smoky wok hei flavour.

French

My knowledge of French cooking is limited, but I have recently found persillade (parsley, garlic, herbs, oil, and vinegar) to be an indispensible seasoning mixture for taking simple chicken to the next level.

Indian

Coming soon.

Italian

I have little experience cooking Italian food but I intend to make lasagna a priority.

Japanese

Among a few other delicacies, I was lucky to try some Wagyu beef and Fugu (pufferfish) during my recent trip to Japan — but my favourite was unagi freshwater eel (pictured). My homemade sushi has so far been unremarkable but I may try okonomiyaki soon.

Jewish American

If you visit New York without trying their pastrami, I will find you, and I will kill you.

Mexican

Coming soon.

Middle Eastern

I don't get why people overpay for hummus when they could just mash some chickpeas with sesames for a very similar, if not identical (I'm not sure) effect.

Persian

Coming soon.

Russian

I've been trying for years (not really) to hack Russia's secret blini pancake recipe to export it to America but I just can't crack the code. Teremok had to invent a special membership card for me because I kept visiting so often.

Scandinavian

The sushi I had in Stockholm was one of the best meals of my life. As with many things, when it comes to food, the Scandinavians are world-class.

Thai

Check out my homemade Chicken Shrimp Pad Thai.

West African

I am planning to try making some fufu soon. Details forthcoming.
