Family Interference pt. 3
A concession I'll make about my father's mishandling of our final close interaction is that it was very complicated. But sensing this, he should have trusted in my simple instructions instead of trying to retain control of what he could no longer understand.
The Balto-American Love Square
By the time I'd met Blaiz in California, her heart had already been broken in high school by Martins, a Latvian exchange student who likely never knew Lithuanian Liepa; but knowing The Baltics, they were probably at least distant cousins, if not outright sleeping together. This resulted in some kind of weird Balto-American Love Square between me, my two Leo exes, and some Latvian future sailor when I somehow ended up also falling in love with someone from the same remote, low-populated corner of north-eastern Europe.
