In the '90s, they taught us Millennials web design so the internet would liberate everyone by letting anybody create their own website. But most never learned and we soon became even more dependent on a few tyrannical companies. Then in the 2010s when I tried to tell everyone about Bitcoin when we were getting them for $300 each, Facebook and Google censored me. My hope is that we are finally emerging from the mistakes of the past, but this is why I don't let social media companies control my life or communications.
