Why I Pierced My Tongue

When I went to get my tongue pierced, it was the only time when even the piercers were trying to talk me out of it. They kept saying it was too dangerous, likely to get infected, pose long term health risks, require a lot of maintenance, etc. But I am so happy I didn't let that scare me off. Everything worked out and the tongue piercing is my favourite because it serves as a visual reminder that when it comes to love (or anything important), I will go to great lengths to do a good job.
