23.7.25: Yesterday a user in China told me that there have recently been beatings of gay citizens in public. I couldn't determine from the translation whether the CCP was performing or just allowing these violent demonstrations to occur, but mainland China's rapid gains over the last couple decades at the expense of its reputation and every exploitable opportunity is an unwise strategy that cannot lead to a great nation.
