
Some Things Are Not Ours to Destroy
Ever since cleaning swamps as the VP of the Environmental Council in high school, I have been concerned with environmental responsibility. However, I find that many of the so-called "environmental causes" are hypocritical and inefficient -- really just corporate or political interests disguised as legitimate movements. I think real environmentalists must ensure their policies make economic sense if they want actual progress and not just to feel like they're making a difference by planting a couple trees.
